The first victim of Freddy Krueger's cruel, terrible methods, Nancy, has been dead for a long time now. Now that Nancy has reached adulthood, she is able to assist other teenagers deal with their own traumatic dreams. Freddy's reappearance is a bummer since (read more) he scares the youngsters into taking their own lives by invading their dreams.
Review: Following the success of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge, New Line Cinema decided to make A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 more than simply a quick buck-strap. For one thing, they worked on it for a number of years, and more crucially, they got Wes Craven back on board as a writer and a producer. The end product was something that took the notion and turned it up to eleven.
